MIGO+1 is a group of 7mm (O gauge) and Gauge 1 modern image modellers based throughout the United Kingdom ( with a small number from overseas) who are working to promote the modelling of the post steam era on British Rail and now the privatised companies in 7mm and Gauge 1.

MIGO+1 was formed in mid-1996 by a small group of active modellers and manufacturers. Members receive two newsletters each year, one in the first 6 months, the other in the last 6 months, which give the opportunity both to write and to read articles, comments, criticism etc on the development of our hobby. Our newsletter is mailed to members unless they have opted to receive it by download, in which case it is available to them in the download section of this website.

MIGO+1 differs from other modelling groups and societies in that it includes both modellers, manufacturers and service providers including model builders who specialise and can give advice in modern image modelling.

MIGO+1 has a society stand, which attends important model railway exhibitions. We also seek to include MIGO+1 members' layouts at such exhibitions to demonstrate the wide range of kits and associated products available to the modern image modeller as well as to help members of the hobby meet to exchange ideas and information.
